I think that might be the question. We think Lyric might have some mind magic. Maybe actual magic. We're not... sure, though. And if he does, we'll need to figure out some sort of shielding until he's remembered how to do it himself...?

Can you describe what those are? It's reading as a foreign word to me. We have things like, um. [for a moment he goes blank, searching] Thoughtsensing, Empathy, Fetching...

Telepathy would be thought sensing, or—being able to talk in peoples' heads? Empathy I would recognize as being able to sense peoples' feelings, I guess in a magical way? Telekinesis is moving stuff around with your mind or with magic . . .

[she worries at her lower lip]

The thing is, we all sort of generate our magic and abilities in different ways. If the magic you're familiar with is more, ah . . . psionics? In nature. Mind magic. Then I have a friend I could take you to that might be able to help more.
